A modern but respectful extension gets consent in a conservation area

This is an example of how a modern residential extension can get planning consent, even in an urban conservation area.

The clients wanted to expand their traditional three-bedroom terraced house in London and enjoy open-plan living, but they had a limited budget. Coffey Architects produced a wonderful home for them which also respects the conservation area by using brick, glass and bi-fold doors.
